For publishers
What we do with your headlines — and how to have them removed.
Version 27 Sep 2026
What Tailwind Trader shows
For a stock ticker a user looks up, we show, per trading day:
- your headline, unchanged, with your publication's name and the publication time;
- a link to your article on your own site;
- a short summary in our own words of what happened — typically one sentence, written by an AI model from the headline and the extract our news supplier provides.
What Tailwind Trader does not show
- We never display the body text of an article, in whole or in part.
- We never present our summary as your text, and we never put your name on it.
- We do not host a copy of your article, and we do not offer a way to read it without visiting your site.
- We do not build a searchable public archive of your content; the material is shown inside a paid tool, per ticker, for the last few weeks.
Having your content removed
Write to support@tailwindtrader.com with the subject "Publisher removal", or use the contact form with the topic “Publisher removal”, and tell us:
- the publication and the domain or domains it publishes under;
- who you are and in what capacity you are writing;
- whether you want everything from that domain excluded, or only specific articles.
What we do about it
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| We confirm receipt | within 2 working days |
| Your domain is entered in the publisher block list and stops being ingested | within 5 working days of a clear request |
| Existing stored headlines from that domain are deleted | with the same change |
| We confirm in writing what was done | with the same change |
Why we can promise this. The block list is a setting, not part of the program: a domain can
be switched off without a new release and without waiting for users to update. That is why the
answer here is days rather than "with the next version".
We do not require a formal legal notice, and we will not argue the point before acting. If you later want your publication back in, the same address works.
Correcting something
If a summary of ours misrepresents your article, tell us which one and what is wrong. We will remove or correct the summary and, where the error was ours and systematic, fix what produced it.
